Life of Quigley

Recently, I had someone contact me via a ubiquitous social networking site. They were wondering if I had a website since they were interested in my work. The funny thing was, I knew the writer ; she’s been on my rss feed for some time. I sent the link and later on a note telling her that I’ve had her on my links and rss feed.

Since then…..

Silence.

Meh…

You can’t make someone like your work. More often than not you can’t even get anyone to look at your work.

Thanks for looking, come again soon.

Thankfully I’m blessed with some great critics in the house.

Jules – I know for a fact that the missus does not pull a critical punch. We can disagree about where a painting is going, color, etc… But, for a fact, if she says that she likes something; I can take that to the bank. It’s as good as sold, hasn’t failed yet.
